TRAVELLING USB HOLDER PANTS (2021)
Made as part of the magic of arrival (2021),
a collaborative mailing project with Michael Cuadrado.
The project is structured through the mailing of packages between us, where each package:
1) includes a physical object and a USB with digital files
2) responds to the last.
The project culminated in the gathering and sharing of research, images, text-edit letters,
hand-made objects, drawings, and videos that ruminate on Sarah Ahmed’s concept of queer phenomenology.
We reflect on our experiences of othering, how our orientations impact our “work of arrival”, and how we follow directions.
